Blackboard Teaching and Learning Conference 2010 comes to SWWHEP!

No Gravatar

Blackboard inc. is bringing the first of these new style Blackboard Learning and Teaching conferences to Wales in April 2010.

This is the first time that Blackboard have organised a conference in Wales and, we believe, the first time they have held such an event at a university venue. There will be up to around 350 delegates from UK, Ireland and Northern Europe. You will find the initial conference announcement here http://tinyurl.com/bbconf where you will also find a link to participate in choosing topics for the conference to address.

A significant factor in bringing the event to Wales was the unique nature of the SWWHEP eLearning project in which Blackboard are the significant commercial partner. There will be a call for papers soon which I will post here and we are hoping that staff from each partner institution will be motivated to particpate in the event to showcase their ideas, work and achievements.

Many thanks to Clive @gbswales for originally posting this on the SWW TEL Ning social network.
