Swansea hosts major e-learning conference

Swansea University is to host the Blackboard Teaching and Learning Conference  from 12th to 14th April  2010.

The conference, which will be attended by 350 delegates from the UK, Ireland and across Northern Europe, is the first of a new style of conference organised by Blackboard.  It will allow delegates to share best practice in e-learning and to learn new ideas.

This is also the first time that Blackboard has held a conference in a UK university and is their first conference in Wales. They chose Swansea University because of the unique E-Learning Centre of Excellence established between the University, Swansea Metropolitan University and Trinity University College Carmarthen under the South West Wales Higher Education Partnership (SWWHEP).
