Blackboard inc. is bringing the first of these new style Blackboard Learning and Teaching conferences to Wales in April 2010.

This is the first time that Blackboard have organised a conference in Wales and, we believe, the first time they have held such an event at a university venue. There will be up to around 350 delegates from UK, Ireland and Northern Europe. A significant factor in bringing the event to Wales was the unique nature of the SWWHEP eLearning project in which Blackboard are the significant commercial partner. There will be a call for papers soon which I will post here and we are hoping that staff from each partner institution will be motivated to particpate in the event to showcase their ideas, work and achievements.
